With two professional land surveyors on staff, R.E. Holland & Associates, Inc. has a combined professional experience of 75 years. Using the latest in cutting-edge technology, being current in professional training, and relying on a past hands on experience allows R. E. Holland & Associates, Inc. to quickly formulate and identify our client’s goals and objectives. The firm’s entire staff is proficient with the most current hardware and software in the industry, giving the firm a competitive position in both cost and time management, and allowing us to meet our commitment to our client’s project deadlines and budget.

Over the years, R.E Holland & Associates, Inc. has purchased several other land surveying companies. Through these purchases, the firm has obtained a broad, stable base of survey records, which along with its own work load, has produced a robust base of varied business clientele.

Principle

Mr. Holland is a registered Professional Surveyor and Mapper No. 4242 in the State of Florida and is the founding principle of R.E. Holland & Associates, Inc.

Mr. Holland has more than 45 years of experience in the local land surveying and engineering community of Jacksonville, providing land surveying, civil engineering, land planning, and construction support services for public infrastructure and private development. He has been an integral part of the water, sewer and reuse infrastructure water expansion by JEA in Northeast Florida. Areas of expertise include:

  • ALTA boundary surveys for commercial tracts
  • Residential subdivision platting
  • Topographic and jurisdictional wetland surveys
  • Route surveys for engineering design
  • Water boundaries and Mean High Water Line locations
  • Construction layout and As-built services for general contractors
  • Legal description and mapping preparation

Mr. Holland lives in Jacksonville and enjoys his leisure time hunting, fishing, and working with vintage automobiles. He also enjoys Indian Wars and Civil War reenacting.

Mr. Smith is a registered Professional Surveyor and Mapper No. 6500 in the State of Florida.

Mr. Smith has more than 31 years of progressive experience in land surveying, civil engineering, land planning, and construction support services for public infrastructure and private development. He has been an integral part of several large planned community developments in Northeast Florida in the past. He is an active member of Knights of Columbus.
